Welcome Funkuncle
Funkuncle has joined forces with FINCH to direct commercial, very un-commercial, or music-based film work.
Funkuncle is a Melbourne-based film + music project led by film director and musician, Edward J. Funkuncle (Jr). Blurring the lines between traditional film making and cutting edge A.I. Shenanigans, Funkuncle takes years of commercial experience, story crafting, reality-bending, dreamweaving, piss-taking, shit mongering, and cooks it all into art-based mind-cakes.
On the subject of A.I. Funkuncle says, “It’s a tool to be used. Sometimes you should fully embrace the grotesque, surrealist, artificially sweetened vortex of A.I., and other times you should run away as fast as you can and build something out of wool and sticks. I hope to do a combination of the two.”
“As A.I. threatens to take away our humanity, I hope to force-feed humanity back into A.I.”
