FINCH SYDNEY – Front of House – Job Description

FINCH is looking for a front of house to run the heart of our Paddington office.

About the Job

You’ll be the face and voice of the company, the first hello for our clients, colleagues and guests, and the person who keeps the office humming behind the scenes.

You’ll be responsible for managing our front of house and reception, and maintaining the day-to-day running of the front desk and office. A key part of the role is office management, ensuring the right processes are in place and the associated admin is handled accordingly. It’s a varied role that puts you at the centre of the office, working closely with our managing exec team and supporting every department when they need a hand.

Main Duties:

  • Hosting guests and getting to know our clients and regulars
  • Maintaining familiarity with all staff, their roles and office listing so enquiries can be directed to the most appropriate staff member
  • Answering and screening calls, taking messages, fielding enquiries
  • Booking couriers and keeping everyone in the loop on movements
  • Managing meeting room bookings, parking and visitor flow
  • Keeping the office clean, tidy and well-presented while also briefing our cleaners
  • Opening and closing the office so it’s ready to go each day
  • Ordering office and kitchen supplies, and general office upkeep
  • Organising catering for client meetings and staff lunches
  • Coordinating staff events and internal initiatives that align with our brand values
  • Supporting the PR team with award entries
  • Jumping in across departments whenever the office needs it

FINCH Aotearoa – Post-Production Producer – Job Description

About the Job

Responsible for producing post jobs (bidding, booking, offline, grade, online, outputs, media management – inc archive and back up). Post-producing and wrap-around post support for all the jobs and footage that runs through Atticus (FINCH) NZ. 

Main Duties

  • Leading communication with production producers to ensure timely bidding, booking, & prepping for post jobs.
  • Managing all communication with agency, clients, and directors. 
  • Managing the offline, grade and online pipeline to deliver creatively to our clients and directors, on schedule and budget. 
  • Managing the VFX workflow in particular – tracking shot completion, overall project elements, approvals, and final delivery.
  • Communicating and managing post-production artists/contractors.
  • Communicating with all stakeholders, including agency and client in a clear and timely fashion.
  • Management of suites. Ensuring equipment is in working and updated order and tracking suite availabilities.
  • Client servicing, ensuring the suite experience is smooth and positive. 
  • Managing the flow of shots, GFX, and audio assets between vendors. 
  • Assisting the VFX team with onset vfx supervision when required.
  • Client servicing in suites, ensuring a smooth and positive environment. 
  • Conforming (Ingesting and syncing media) in Avid/Premiere  Resolve and Flame and prepping artist workspaces. 
  • Outputs and submasters for online and audio, including EDLs and OMF/AAFs.
  • Managing all media that comes in and out the building, including archiving and back-ups.
