Arthur Studholme

Arthur Studholme is a commercial, music video and comedy director living in London. With a background in Fine Art, he makes films that are long on the absurd, but keep a foot planted in reality, whether that’s through authentic, pared-back performances, crafted world-building, or impeccable casting. He’s driven by ideas, often cracking them open like some strange nut and finding even more ideas inside.

He co-created the comedy project ‘Uncle Shortbread’ with writer Cosmo Wellings, and their recent short Peter Hair garnered over 1.3 million views on YouTube. They have shows in development with the BBC and in production with Adult Swim.
